Section 9 of the new AHPRA guidelines demands that we have current education in medical aesthetics.
S9.1 - You are responsible for complication management training.
S9.2 - You are responsible for ensuring your training is sufficient for the procedure and the care that follows .
Vascular occlusion. Blindness. Delayed onset nodules.
These are the "likely complications" the guidelines are talking about. Knowing how to inject is not the standard anymore. Knowing how to recognise, prevent and manage what goes wrong is.

This course is 15 hours of CPD - in medical aesthetics. With a certificate.
